Baby dress in terracotta crepe cotton voile printed with red floral motifs. Made from a light, stretchy fabric dotted with tiny green pollen grains amidst which bloom red flowers in an all-over pattern, the print of this dress brings back memories of summer and warms us in the heart of winter.

The body of the flared dress is mounted on a lined yoke, a gathered flounce finishes the Claudine collar on which flowers are hand-embroidered by Indian artisans. The long sleeves are tightened at the wrists by an elastic band for a flounced effect, the four natural mother-of-pearl buttons and a green velvet ribbon close the opening in the back which allows the head to pass through without tearing the ears. The wide flounce at the bottom of the dress, scalloped and hemmed with burgundy satin stitch, reinforces the width of the dress. A burgundy picot stitch hems the bottom of the sleeves and the collar tights.

To avoid draughts which would only want to slip under the dress, an "intimate shirt" known as "the secret" under Louis XIII, tights, a cardigan, and there you have it... Or the tricks of the wind are foiled!

A dress is full of softness for babies to live happy days without constraint.
