Washing & care

• Washing machine capacity of 6kg or more
• Wash separately on a delicate programme at 30°C
• Do not use bleach
• Use a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener
• Use a low spin speed if the rug has braids, fringes or pompoms
• Do not leave the wet rug in the washer, as the colours may run
• Tumble dry at low temperature; avoid drying in the sun
• Some lint at first is normal (cut-cotton fibres): brush gently in the direction of the pile for the first few days, then vacuum
• Do not use robot vacuums or vacuums with beater bars
• If you find a long or loose thread, cut it with scissors; never pull it
