Rugcycled: RugCycled®️ is our zero waste line. We believe in providing sustainable and high quality home decor. With RugCycled®️, we created the first upcycled washable rugs, giving a second life to textile leftovers from our own productions. By using waste as raw material, we reduce the impact on natural resources and continue to improve our zero waste goal. The base of most of our washable rugs is made of RugCycled®️ canvas.

Sustainable: This is a unique artisan piece, carefully designed by Lorena Canals and sustainably handcrafted in our own factory using natural fibers and upcycled materials, non-toxic dyes, and a firm commitment to the planet and people. From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.

Solidary: Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Handcrafted: If you own one of our signature home rugs, you know it is a one-of-a-kind piece. Because it is handcrafted by Indian artisans and not the result of mass production. Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. The result is a piece of art with slight variations inherent in artisanal work. Finding beauty in imperfection.

Natural fiber: Cotton

Lightweight, practical, and above all, washable! Cotton is a natural and renewable fiber, known for its high absorption and insulation properties.

Not only is it soft and comfortable to the touch, but it is also hypoallergenic, durable and easy to clean, all which make a cotton rug a great choice for your home. With proper care, it will last for many years.

Washable: We are the creators of the washable rug concept. This rug is machine washable at home, keeping it flawless wash after wash. They're ideal for everyday use, for homes with children and pets, as they allow you to easily remove any stain just by putting them in the washing machine. Making life easier!

A walk through Hyde Park! Rectangular cotton play rug inspired by London’s iconic Hyde Park. Includes five handmade accessories: a tree, street lamp, bridge, dog, and swan — all stored in a practical cotton bag. Each piece is carefully made by hand using materials like cotton cords, bamboo, and hand-trimmed details to bring the park to life.

Cotton rugs may shed fibers when new or during use. After unpacking, lay the rug flat for 2-3 days. Then, gently brush or vacuum to restore the pile.

Washing instructions

• Wash separatetly at 30º maximum
• Capacity of the washing machine 6kg or higher
• Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave it in the washer
• If you find a long thread cut it with scissors. Never pull it
• Avoid using cleaning robots or vacuums with beater bars to prevent damaging the pile.
• Use a low-powered vacuum cleaner regulary to clean and counteract shedding.
• Do no use bleach of fabric softeners
• Use a gentle cycle if your rug has braids or fringes
• Avoid continuous exposure to sun
