Handmade round bread basket in a lovely pink color with flower motif. Measures Dia27 x H7 cm. It's handmade of raffia and will for sure decorate any table. Use it for your jewelry, fruit, bread, to display several candle holders... only your imagination sets boundaries! The colors will fade a bit over time and more quickly if they are placed in direct sunlight. Avoid contact with water, as the colors can rub off.

This product is handmade in the amazing natural material, raffia. Raffia fibers come from palm fronds and all RICE raffia products come from Madagascar, which also is the place where the history of RICE began. Our raffia baskets and raffia houses were some of our very first products. The production takes place in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar and supports more than 300 families on the Red Island.

Because raffia is a natural material and the products are handmade, each product can vary in size and this variation is reflected in the coloring as well. This means two products are never quite alike, which we see as part of the charm. If exposed to direct sunlight, the colors will fade over time. The color of the raffia products might rub off if exposed to liquids.
